Dear Employer,
You are an employer, known for building a cooperative, high-performance culture of work in your organisation. You are looking either to start a new, mission-oriented team or to add a superstar contributor to an existing team.
I am a bright-mooded, energetic, experienced Research Engineer and Technical Team Leader, specialising in firmware engineering and cybersecurity. Starter keywords: Zephyr, Cortex-M, CAN, SPI, and more.
My reputation is of a creative problem solver with a knowledge base extending beyond the core field, into electronics, mechanical engineering and materials science, project risk management, leadership and philosophy.
I am known for coming up with deep insights and radical innovations. My friends describe me as kind, fun and extremely intelligent. My knowledge of theory is matched by my experience in lab work.
I consider my technical communication skill -- to present and explain complex technical issues in a way tailored to the audience -- to be one of my strongest sides. Teamwork ftw!
Since 2025, my polymath engineer upbringing made me incredibly productive with agentic AI. Chunks of work that used to take months, I now routinely complete in days. This is by defining the problem well enough that an agent swarm can be dispatched to achieve a goal.
Moreover, through participation in a private AI research club, I am well aware of the issues with AI alignment, giving me an extra edge when specifying the problem to solve.
Note that if I contacted you directly, you would get my tailored CV; still you can see a long, generic version here.
However, to appreciate my extensive experience, please take a look at my portfolio and professional development timeline.
Kind Regards,
Dr George Rey
